Dutch Apple Bread
This recipe was given to Annie by a friend of ours at church.
You start by creaming together some margarine and sugar, then beating in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix the dry ingredients together with sour milk (milk and a little bit of vinegar). Fold in some grated apples and chopped walnuts.
Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350*F for about an hour or until a skewer comes out clean.
This was a very tasty and moist cake, one we'll do again.
Aloha.
